Ingredients
9 inch baked pie shell
3 ounces cream cheese
30 whole large strawberries
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cornstarch
Whipping cream
Directions
Soften cheese and spread over bottom of crust.
Place strawberries standing up over cheese.
Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Puree enough berries in blender or processor to make 1-1/2 cups liquid.
Bring to boil and slowly add sugar-cornstarch mixture.
Cook stirring constantly until thick about 1 minute.
Cool then pour over berries and refrigerate.
Before serving put a circle of whipped cream around edges of pie and decorate with whole berries.
